How we estimate your savings
We assume 40 words per minute when typing manually and 2 seconds to type a shortcut and expand it—not two seconds for expansion alone. Monthly hours saved = (typing time per snippet − shortcut time) × daily expansions × 22 workdays ÷ 3,600. We multiply those hours by your hourly rate to estimate their value. This estimates repeated typing avoided; creating snippets and editing or filling in templates are not included. Actual savings vary.

What is included with lifetime access?
Lifetime access includes the same personal Mac features: unlimited snippets, fill-in templates, dynamic dates and times, quick search, rich text and images, and folder and tag organization. Pay $9 once for lifetime access.
Can I use Tapiri on multiple Macs?
Yes. One personal license lets you activate Tapiri on up to 3 Macs for your own use. To switch devices when all three slots are in use, deactivate Tapiri on one Mac through its license settings, then activate it on the new Mac.
Can I try Tapiri before paying?
Yes. Download Tapiri and finish setup to start 7 days of full access with unlimited snippets. No credit card or separate Tapiri account is required.
What happens when my free trial ends?
You won’t be charged automatically. Choose a paid plan to keep using automatic expansion, fill-in templates, and other paid features. You can still view, edit, copy, and export your saved snippets after the trial ends.
Can I buy Tapiri with a one-time payment?
Yes. The Lifetime plan is a single payment for perpetual use of Tapiri’s personal Mac app, with no recurring subscription. It includes all future updates to that product, including major versions.
Do I need an account to activate my purchase?
No separate Tapiri account is needed. Your purchase email and license key are used to activate your license in the app. Use an email address you can access, and connect to the internet for activation.
Does Tapiri need an internet connection?
Your snippets are stored locally, and text expansion works offline. An internet connection is needed to activate a purchase, manage devices, and download updates. Subscriptions also need renewal verification; lifetime access has no periodic online expiry.
Will I lose my snippets if I stop paying?
No. Your snippet library stays on your Mac. You can still view, edit, copy, and export your saved content after paid access ends. Automatic expansion, script execution, and paid dynamic features require an active license.
What is your refund policy?
Tapiri includes a 30-day money-back guarantee on your initial purchase, including lifetime access. To request a refund, email hello@tapiriapp.com with your purchase email and order reference. The guarantee covers your first purchase, rather than subsequent subscription renewals.
Who handles payments and invoices?
